YES4EastmontSchools is an independent, volunteer-led committee of parents, grandparents, educators, business leaders, retirees, alumni, and community members who believe that investing in our schools is an investment in the future of our entire community.
Our committee was formed to support the Eastmont School District's November 2026 bond measure by encouraging community members to learn about the proposal, ask questions, and vote YES. We believe strong schools help create a stronger community by providing safe learning environments for students, supporting local families, protecting property values, and helping Eastmont remain a great place to live and work. This reflects the committee's stated purpose of increasing awareness, sharing factual information, encouraging voter participation, and building broad community support for the measure.
Our mission is simple:
To educate, engage, and encourage our community to vote YES for Eastmont Schools.
We do this by:
While we work closely with information provided by Eastmont School District, YES4EastmontSchools is an independent political committee.
The District's role is to provide factual information about the bond measure and election. Our role is different—we advocate for passage of the bond by encouraging voters to support it and by helping our neighbors understand why we believe this investment is important for Eastmont's future. This distinction is an important part of complying with Washington State Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) requirements.
Everything we do is guided by four simple principles:
Passing this bond will take the support of people throughout our community.
Whether you'd like to volunteer, endorse the campaign, make a contribution, request a presentation, or simply stay informed, we'd love to have you join us.
Together, we can build stronger schools and a stronger community.
